In this paper two types of Chinses religion and the differences between the two will be examined. The two religions ar Confucianism and non-Confucianism or Literati and Renascent Literat. The two tenets of thought for each will be discussed as well as the history of the two and the underlying roots of Taois and Buddhism. A review will be given of the schools of thought of the two religions.
