The aim of this research paper is to conduct a thorough examination of the play The Glass Menagerie written by Tennessee Williams. A special attention is paid to the detailed characterization of Tom Wingfield and the change of his personality throughout the whole play. The analysis also touches the plot, settings and portrayal of other characters.
