The American Dream: An Analysis (and) American Foreign Policy 1932-1963.
This five-page graduate-level paper is in the form of two essays of two-and-one-half pages which examine American social conditions and foreign policy between 1932 and 1963. The first essay discusses to what extent the "American Dream" became a reality for groups like African-Americans, women, Japanese-Americans, and the white ethnic working class during the period from 1932-1963. The second essay analyzes American foreign policy during this period, assesses what influenced it, how successful it was, and investigates what fundamental principles and traditions governed the conduct of American foreign policy.
