This four page undergraduate paper examines the war on terrorism. The author notes that either the terrorist ideology of Islamic extremists will survive and thrive, or freedom and democracy will. The ideologies are incompatible, so the West had better summon the vision and courage to refute the morally bankrupt ideology of Bin Laden and expose the irrational paranoia that pervades the Muslim world for what it is, or generations yet unborn will pay the awful price.
