This paper analyses the presence and roles of both male and female Asian American characters in Hollywood movies. Female characters are often portrayed as exotic, sensual and often submissive both to White and Asian males. Asian males are often portrayed as evil men or martial marts experts but in any case as sexual or masculine individuals that can attract the attention of either White or Asian females.
