This paper discusses the article "Do it my way or not at all", in the guardian newspaper on 8th October 2002, written by Amanda Hall. It was reported that Philip Green, owner of BHS and Arcadia Group said to a supplier of garments during a recent meeting: "Help me understand why I would pay for instance ¡ê9 for something that is worth ¡ê4?" It explains what Mr. Green had in mind when he said the product in question was worth "¡ê4"? And what effects would a reduction in price have upon the suppliers term of; competitiveness against other suppliers, product cost quantity of output, profit maximization point, retail price etc.
