This essay will exam two separate series of events, which have a similar but distinct causal relationship to each other: the first series is that you give me a recipe for barbecue sauce and I market it and grow rich; the second series is an example brought up in Jaegwon Kim's "Events as Property Exemplifications" wherein Brutus stabs Caesar, and the resulting wound, left untreated, causes death. The two events and their series of resulting and causal relations may seem the same, but they are fundamentally different from each other, and this essay will show how. 4-pages.
