This is an introduction to a business proposal. The role of local and community development within Sierra Leone has been identified as a critical element in helping promote economic stability within this region. Traditionally, entrepreneurs within Sierra Leone have needed to conform to the standards of the government in order to succeed, or face repercussions in the form of limitations to access of finances. Even when funded by external partnerships such as the World Bank or the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the entrepreneur within Sierra Leone has needed to either conform to existing standards or face dissolution. Furthermore, the activities of the Revolutionary United Front (RUF) within the region have imperiled any realistic economic success when not housed within the dubious safety of the urban setting.
