This paper is a discussion of the proposal for the Three Gorges Damn in china. Issue regarding the building of the damn, which has a projected completion date of 2009, will be presented and examined in the paper. Comments and current newspaper articles will be used to present the issues that China is facing in regard to the damn. As well views of the residents will be examined in the paper.
