This paper examines the economy of Ireland both before and after the implementation of the Euro system. A focus is provided as to how the Euro has affected the economy of Ireland, especially in respect to how the Irish no longer need to rely upon the country of Germany for economic support, as well as how Ireland has since adapted to the Euro System as their primary standard of currency. 8 pgs.
