The Important Trends in Global Economic Integration.
This brief study will explore this question by taking a look at the three most important integration projects currently in motion. In the final analysis it will be clear that the biggest gains have not been through the World Trade Organization, which is a hot-house for trade disputes and empty rhetoric, but through regional movements like the European Union, NAFTA, and on a broader level, APEC.
