This paper will examine the product life cycle of United Airlines new premium service. P.S., as it has been dubbed, offers customers flying between New York and Los Angeles as well as New York and San Francisco more amenities during their flight. This paper will assert and defend the services position in the introductory stage of its life cycle, discuss the potential time it will remain in that life cycle, and finally examine some of the pertinent cost and value issues that need to be addressed to successfully market this service.
