In this paper, we will examine the intervention called Corrective Reading. This is a teaching method used to help students who are falling behind their peers in reading skills. We will examine the main features of this curriculum and explore some of the purposes for using this intervention with students. We will then examine some research that evaluates the efficacy of this intervention, and then make some recommendations regarding the use of this program.
