This paper addresses the process of problem solving and the steps to be followed involving Claims and Appeals and the Criteria used to decide among them, noting that one way of looking at the problem solving paradigm is as an educational task, a task of investigating and learning, with a consideration of some of the elements involved in education illuminating the process.
