This paper assesses the recent advances in the treatment of the autistic child. This paper shall first present a discussion of autism, including how the autistic child relates to his or her environment. This paper then investigates the information concerning the education of the autistic child, with an emphasis on the discoveries and the techniques that have proven to be the most beneficial for the child.
