This paper describes an interview with a school social worker in a medium-sized, upper middle class high school with a small population of Korean, Chinese, and East European immigrant students. It describes the interviewee's reaction to recent tragedies and how the student body dealt with them, as well as how social workers are involved in determining special education eligibility. 3 pgs.
