Hazardous waste management is one of the most problematic issues that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is asked to face: Hazardous waste is challenging to clean and dispose of, and there tend to be complications resulting from the disposal of waste in the response from the public sector in terms of opposing localized disposal plans. The EPA is also challenged in terms of funding, for the cleanup and disposal of hazardous wastes is a costly process.
