Summary of reading of poem and documentation of process used to arrive at that reading. Poem: Dover Beach by Matthew Arnold. Tiffany and I carefully read, reviewed and discussed the poem. We found that there were two possible readings of the poem: one reading saw the poem as being about life, and one saw it as being about love. This is an explanation of both readings.
