Logical Positivism and Universalist Theory in Determining the Laws of Nature
This paper will examine the way that natural laws are debated through the medium of logical positivism and universal theory in modern scientific studies. By using two essays by Ayer and Dretske, we can learn how these two polarized theories clash in determining natural law by understanding the microcosmic and macrocosmic nature of studies being done in the natural world.
