This paper considers an experiment that is to be conducted on people who have been divorced to deterine how those who fare well do so in order to help others, and among the problems many people have are a reduced ability to function, self-condemnation, and traumatic effects on children, and the researchers hope that implications drawn from their findings will be applied in a variety of counseling and training contexts.
