This paper presents the methods and results of an experiment using the Watson card task and Grigg's drinking age problem. Psychological phenomena and its effect on cognition are investigated in this study and the procedure involves an interview with three females and three males from different age groups. In addition to the details of the study a discussion encompassing cognition and the psychological phenomena that affect it is also presented.
