This study guide examines the four basic paradigms of psychology and gives an example of each. It is told in the first person. Psychology is a very interesting thing and it is it has many different approaches. The people who support different schools of psychology believe that they have the right approach, but they really might not. There are so many ways to try and study human behavior and there is not one paradigm in psychology that has been able to completely prove that it is right and that it is the way to explain why people act the way that they do. But there are good things that can be taken from each approach to psychology and there are things that can be used from each one to put things together so that it is possible to have a real understanding of psychology and how people act.
