This paper shall discuss the field of psychological counseling and therapy as it relates specifically to behavior theory and behavior therapy. The purpose of this paper is to identify one of the founding theorists of behavior theory, define the theory, and present the theorys conception of human nature, of change, the maladaptive, counseling techniques, and individual motivations.
