This paper addresses three questions in the field of psychology. One addresses the process by which visual information is processed from the eye back through the brain where it is interpreted. A diagram of the process follows. The second question concerns how primacy, regency, chunking and other techniques improve recall and are thus superior to simple rote memorization. The last question discusses empiricism.
