Psychometricians.

This three-page paper is on the topic of psychometrics. Researchers have been interested in psychometrics from its earliest times. Beginning with Binet in France and Spearman in England. Researchers have studied this topic. However, there are relatively few universities that offer a Ph.D in Psychometrics. Many of the students that get a degree are employed in psychological testing. There are many areas that the psychometrician can be employed. According to the Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary, "A psychometrician is a person (as a clinical psychologist) who is skilled in the administration and interpretation of objective psychological test or is a psychologist who devises, constructs, and standardizes psychometric tests" (2002). Many pioneers in this science have made many discoveries that help the study of human behavior, psychology. "Across all disciplines of psychology there is a common thread that unites all researchers and scientists in the field. This unifying discipline is psychometrics" (Fordham 2002). Psychometricians have many different fields to specialize in. Psychometrics is a rapidly growing research and measurement of human behavior.
