This paper shall examine the library science field, from a personal perspective. In response to a university-sponsored practicum, at the Bowling Green Public Library, this paper shall reflect upon what the experience has offered the student. Specifically, the lack of specific knowledge learned, will be addressed all the while emphasizing that the practicum is an experience in observation through which a student can discover new avenues of study.
