This essay discusses how there have been, as of late, tremendously important discoveries in DNA. Scientists have deciphered every last one of the 3 billion DNA "letters" in the human body. The biological knowledge has been discovered regarding what it means to be human. The scientific significance of this discovery and work is immeasurable. Indeed, the completed DNA sequence is now expected to give scientists understandings about the workings of the human body that have never been made before. In many respects, this development will revolutionize medicine and biology. We now have a much better understanding of how DNA evolved and how its function has changed through time. 6 pgs.
