Within this paper, I conduct an interview with my father, who was a teacher for most of his life. I ask him a number of questions regarding how he received his job and what working was like back in the 60's. Throughout the paper, I reflect upon my dad's advice as well, in order to show how his advice is reflecting my personal development. In the end, I write a poem that attempts to synthesize the advice from my father's past with my projection for my future.
