Reflecting back on personal experiences and how they have touched my life begins with the day I watched the news on September 11, 2000, and then later with my diploma. Dating back to September 11th, 2003, I knew the moment that I began watching the horror of the terrorism to our nation that I had to do something to help our nation. My plans began to form to apply for NROTC, and then I would join the Navy. Reflection on my personal experiences started on September 11, 2000 and was further brought into perspective the day I received my diploma.
